piece of self-indulgence called 'Natal Tart'
Your eyes glaze over
as she talks about your sun sign and your moon sign and how your moon
sign is the subconscious pieces of you
little bits here and
there that nag at you, making their presence very known
like cookie crumbs
in bed sheets
pebble in your boot
pebble in your boot
she notices that you
are not interested
she chooses to keep
talking but she changes the tempo
sounds a little more
sad, talks a little faster
'perhaps its her moon
sign rearing itself in the midst of insecurity' is what you would think sarcastically if you were actually paying attention.
Her sun is
Sagittarius – so - fire
Her heart feels
really big and really heavy to boot, when she laughs she imagines it filling
up the whole room
She trips and falls
and drop things a lot all while smiling because she genuinely loves
being the clown
a hunter without a
destination
She is blunt and
confrontational – get it all out in the open
She'll tell you
whatever is going on in her brain
Often times she
wishes she could just open up her chest and let you take a look for
yourself
it would be easier
that way
sometimes her mouth
trips her up when the words kind of just spiral out and its never
quite what she means.
if only you could
scratch the surface of her to reveal that energy that lives right
below the flesh – yellow and violet I think
but scratch-n-sniff
stickers are very different from her, strangely enough.
Sometimes when she finds herself in a group singing happy birthday to someone, she lowers her own voice so that she can pin point each individual's singing and this makes her feel warm and comforted. Unity.

Her moon is in
Capricorn so – earth
She has a strong
will and determination
but no where to go
with it (See Sagittarius*)
Sometimes she opens
herself up so so so big that she gets hurt (she's not surprised, she
knows this is part of it)
and her moon steps
in and she becomes a lil cold and distant and calculated
Not her proudest
time nor most comfortable time
always always after
she's been hurt, never before or during.
Capricorns are
strong and realistic and they help keep our feet on the ground
without forcing us to take our head out of the clouds.
Her rising is Pisces
– so – water
All she really deep
down cares about is how she affects other people, how they feel, how
they communicate, how we can function as a well-to-do
well-oiled-machine
she'll reach into
her chest and grab her throbbing heart and put it in your two hands,
though you probably wont want it – not quite like that (She's still
learning)
and when you dont
offer yours in return
She will genuinely
understand
because she's traced
that possibility already with the tip of her finger, slowly and
delicately and decided to jump in anyway.. (that's a Jupiter gal for ya)
And somehow, even
though she could see it all before it happened, she'll still kind of
stand there and slump and cry a little and then cry a lot and then
she'll just sit there and do nothing and perhaps eventually she'll just
take her heart back
and kind of awkwardly squish it back into that empty chest cavity
might have to use
her thumbs a little to make sure it all fits
and she'll start to
fall and float simultaneously;
like this reoccurring dream she used to have when she was 6 where she would be falling down a well and as she got closer to the bottom she could see it more clearly and as she started to panic she would fall faster and faster and then right before she would hit the bottom, naturally, she'd wake up. Panting and sweaty and her little brain would wonder why..
so just like that, she'll fall and float and stop and run and lay down
but the valiant and
gregarious centaur always really wins in the end
and he picks her up
and places her on the tip of one of his very sharp arrows and he'll
aim and shoot her way way high up in the sky
and the descent will
be scary and painful but certainly fun.
But we're not
thinking of where we're going.
We're just going and
going and going and picking up flowers along the way.
